of the world. Netflix recently lunched Netflix Nigeria; which makes it easy
for Nigerians to stream their favorite Nollywood movies without stress.
In addition to this, they made it equally easy to pay in your local currency.
Which means the prices are uniquely stable and not determined by the rise or
fall of the Naira. Sounds great I must say!
In addition, with Netflix you do not have to worry about ad breaks or any type
of ad at all, you get to enjoy unique content tailored just for you based on
your previously watched movie and you can cancel your plan at any time
easily.
Current Netflix Basic Subscription Price in Nigeria
The Mobile plan is the most affordable of all plans which gives you access to
the same streaming content as the premium plan. The Mobile plan costs N1,200 as
at the time of making this post and has a resolution of 480p. Please note that
480p on a mobile device is sufficient to enjoy your favorite movie. The only
downside is, the Mobile plan can only be enjoyed on mobile devices, as you
cannot use this plan on your TV or your computer. On this plan, you can only
stream on one (1) device at a time.
The Basic Plan is also an affordable plan. It costs N2,900 as at the time of
making this post with the same resolution of 480p as the mobile plan but you
can use this plan to enjoy streaming across all your devices, from your Mobile
to your Laptop and TV. On this plan, you can only stream on one (1) device at
a time.
The standard plan however costs N3,600 and has a resolution of 1080p. For
lovers of high resolution, this is an affordable plan to choose. You get to
enjoy a high resolution across your devices including your TV. This plan also
allows you stream on two (2) devices at a time.
The Premium plan packs a whooping 4K resolution and costs N4,400. This plan
allows you stream on four (4) devices at a time and has HDR+ for devices with
the capability.
It is important to note that
HD (720p), Full HD (1080p), Ultra HD (4K) and HDR availability subject to
your internet service and device capabilities. Not all content is available
in all resolutions.
